Blow-through ventilators :
Today, evaporators with blow-through ventilators are mainly used for blast freezing. Due to the small distance between the evaporator and the shelf trolley, the air flows over the entire, rectangular shaped evaporator surface. With the draw-through design, only two circular air flows would be conducted on the goods to be cooled.

Pressure transmitter :
Pressure transmitters are used in refrigeration units when the pressure must be controlled or monitored in connection with electronic controls. They operate with a membrane, which expands or retracts in response to slight pressure changes in the medium. These movements are converted into electrical signals by means of an electronic signal converter. Transmitters are powered with 24V DC. The operational range of –1 to 30 bar is set by means of a screw in connection with a spring. There are both digital and analogue versions. The transmitters with a digital outlet signal of 0V or 24V are provided with individual setting possibilities for the signal point and the switching differential. The analogue transmitters operate across a large range, which is proportional to the pressure changes.

Nozzle humidifier :
The most simple way is to mount spray jet nozzles on the distribution pipes which humidify the air in the air conditioning units. The water is sprayed in a dense mist of water droplets which subsequently evaporate in the air. Air washers are used in HVAC plants. The air flows horizontally through a chamber at 2/3 m/s where one or more jets are mounted to spray the water. The jets which are stainless, brass, or plastic spray the water into the oncoming airflow or across the airflow. To avoid water droplets penetrating it is essential to install droplet separators. The circulating water becomes enriched with salt as a result of the evaporation. The water tank therefore has a blow off device and a float valve to feed fresh water. Salts lead to corrosion corrosion
Fr : corrosion (f) All : Korrosion (f) An : corrosion It : and dust accumulation in the rooms to be air conditioned. A remedy is to completely desalinate the water. Regular changes of water in the air washer as well as cleaning and disinfecting it is required to respect hygiene. Recommended limits for the quality of the spray water can be found in VDI Richtlinie (German Association of Engineers Guideline) 3803.

Steam humidifier :
The steam is produced in stainless steel or plastic steam cylinders using electric power. As the drinking water from the public supply network, which is used mostly, contains minerals and suspended matter, it must be put through a process to achieve a constant concentration and conductibility by dosed blowing off and backfeeding of fresh water. The steam feed is either direct into the room or through a suitable steam lance into the supply air duct. Modern units today are equipped with microprocessors which not only take over all the control and regulating functions but also the alarm and monitoring functions including remote data transmission.
